Cross Country Home Services Named As Finalist In The 5th Annual 2013 Golden Bridge Awards

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Aug. 30, 2013) —Cross Country Home Services, Inc. (CCHS), one of the country's leading providers of home warranty products and maintenance plans, has been named a finalist in two categories in the 2013 Golden Bridge Awards. The coveted annual program recognizes the achievements and positive contributions of companies and executives around the world. CCHS is a finalist in the "Corporate Social Responsibility - Company of the Year" and "Women Executive of the Year" categories. Winners will be honored at the awards dinner and presentation in San Francisco on September 30.

OPERATION APPLIANCE AIDSM: Keeping Things Running Smoothly For Our Veterans, is a finalist in the Corporate Social Responsibility – Company of the Year category.  CCHS recognized the struggles that many veterans have as a result of the disruption caused by active duty or by an injury or disability, so they launched a program in 2012 that provides new appliances and major home systems to veterans and military service families in need. The company believes that providing a tangible gift in the form of a new major appliance or home system can bring an immediate sense of relief and improve their everyday lives.  CCHS leveraged their existing partnerships with a large network of independent service providers and major appliance manufacturers, and formed partnerships with community organizations such as United Way of Broward County, Rebuilding Together Broward County, Anderson Interfaith Ministries (AIM) and The Senior Source in Dallas, TX to identify veterans in need. Donations are typically timed to major military holidays, and in just one year, CCHS has donated more than 30 appliances and helped 14 deserving families around the country.

CCHS President Sandra Finn is also being recognized by the Golden Bridge Awards as a finalist in the Women Executive of the Year category. Finn joined CCHS in 1999, and moved quickly from Executive Vice President to President. She oversees a total of more than 600 employees in the company's Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. headquarters and in their Anderson, S.C. customer care facility that operates 24 hours, 365 days a year. Under Finn's leadership, CCHS has earned double-digit revenue growth and increased its employee base significantly. She has focused the company's attention on delivering a top-notch customer experience across every point of contact within the company; united a diverse employee base behind the company's customer service-focused mission, and has been repeatedly recognized as Florida's top five most prominent female executives by The Commonwealth Institute.
