Cross Country Home Services Executives Named Finalists in 10th Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business

Stevie Award Winners to Be Announced in New York on November 8

Two executives from Cross Country Home Services, Inc. (CCHS), one of the country's leading providers of home warranty products and maintenance plans, have been named as Finalists in the Female Executive of the Year category in the 10th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business. President Sandra Finn and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Tami Thraum have been recognized and will each ultimately be a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the program.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the companies they run – worldwide.  The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world's premier business awards.

"It's not only an honor to be acknowledged as a finalist for this prestigious award, but to be grouped with my colleague Tami Thraum is truly remarkable," said Finn. "Cross Country Home Services has a specific focus on delivering the best in industry customer experience and constantly challenges its employees to look for ways to improve it. This focus goes beyond a single project or initiative; it's part of the CCHS culture and drives the way we do business. Our executive team truly works together to ensure this culture."

Finn joined CCHS in 1999 and moved quickly from Executive Vice President to President. She oversees a total of more than 600 employees in the company's Fort Lauderdale, Fla., headquarters and in its Anderson, S.C., customer care facility that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Under Finn's leadership, CCHS has earned double-digit revenue growth and increased its employee base significantly. She has focused the company's attention on delivering a top-notch customer experience across every point of contact within the company; united a diverse employee base behind the company's customer service-focused mission, and has been repeatedly recognized as Florida's top five most prominent female executives by The Commonwealth Institute.

As CFO of CCHS, Thraum oversees all accounting and financial reporting, planning and analysis, treasury management, procurement, and legal among other day-to-day operations. A finance industry veteran, she has played an integral role in CCHS's remarkable success despite the harsh economic climate for American businesses. Her experience and business acumen have allowed her to rebuild CCHS' accounting and finance departments in a sophisticated and innovative manner. Through the implementation of leading-edge processes and procedures, she made financial oversight at CCHS more efficient, transparent and driven by measurable results. Her initiatives have had far-reaching positive implications for financial reporting and analysis, strategic planning, treasury, legal and compliance, procurement and facilities management.

"I am humbled to have earned the American Business Awards' recognition for Female Executive of the year alongside many outstanding women in leadership, including our president, Sandra Finn," said Thraum. "This nomination was made possible with the help of the outstanding team I work with and our commitment to making CCHS the best it can be.  I am proud to be a part of such an outstanding organization."

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 8.  The nominees, as well as entrepreneurs from the United States and several other countries, are expected to attend.

Finalists were chosen by more than 140 business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging.  More than 90 members of the five final judging committees will determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging.
